The medicine opens a door. Walking through it together is the work.
More and more couples are curious about an MDMA assisted experience together: to soften years of armor, to say the things that never find their way out, to remember what they saw in each other at the beginning. The research on MDMA and connection is real, and so is something the headlines skip: the experience itself is the shortest part. What happens in the weeks before and after decides whether one strong night becomes a changed relationship, or just a beautiful memory you argue about later.
That before and after is my work. I am trained in couples therapy, deep states are familiar territory for me, and I coach couples through preparation and integration. The journey itself is yours.
Read first: the two weeks before and the first 30 days after.
Before: preparing as a couple
Preparation for two is different from preparation for one. You are not just each meeting the medicine; you are meeting each other inside something very open. We work on the conversations to have before: what each of you is hoping for, what each of you is afraid of, and the difference between an honest intention and a decorative one.
We build agreements that protect the connection: what is welcome in the space, what waits for another day, how you ask for closeness and how you ask for distance, what happens if one of you goes somewhere the other cannot follow. Openness without agreements is how tender material becomes a wound. Openness with agreements is how it becomes intimacy.
After: integration for two
The days after are tender and fluent, and then life gets loud again. Integration sessions in the weeks after are where we anchor it: turning what you said to each other into how you actually live, working with anything difficult that surfaced, and practicing the new way of turning toward each other until it survives a Tuesday argument. Nothing you bring will be judged or pathologized.
By the end
By the end of preparation you will have: agreed intentions, a safety and support plan, and words for the conversation you have been avoiding.
By the end of integration: what opened between you woven into ordinary life, not left behind in one strong night.
A substance is a catalyst, not a substitute. The relationship still has to do the walking.
Common questions
No. I do not provide, source, sell or administer any substances, and I am not present during anyone's journey. What I offer is preparation and integration coaching, and education.
MDMA assisted therapy is not an approved treatment in Portugal or in most of the world. Portugal has decriminalized personal possession of small amounts, but sale and supply remain illegal. Nothing on this page is an encouragement to break any law; know and respect the laws where you are.
Yes. Preparation and integration sessions happen over Zoom worldwide, or in person in the Lisbon and Sintra area, in English and Hebrew.
Most couples do two to four preparation sessions, and two to four integration sessions in the weeks after. We shape the container around you in a free 30 minute intro call.
