One to one coaching

Same patterns, different worlds.

Most people who come to me do not come because something exploded. They come because something keeps happening.

The same feeling in the fourth relationship. The same avoidance, exactly, in front of the bank. The same second in which you know what is right for you and say precisely the opposite, and then sit with it in your body all evening.

I work one to one on Zoom from anywhere in the world, and in person around Lisbon and Sintra. My background is relationships, with training in couples therapy, somatic work and movement, and a decade in tech before that. The combination is not accidental: I work with feeling without giving up structure, and with structure without giving up the body.

The three worlds I work in

Love

Attachment patterns, boundaries that were never said out loud, entering relationships too fast and over-giving. The moment you notice you are doing it again, and want to stop mid-way rather than afterwards.

Money

Not spreadsheets, but what happens in the body when you open the banking app. Pricing that feels impossible, avoidance of paperwork, and the gap between what you are worth and what you ask for.

Direction

Large thresholds: moving countries, changing profession, deciding about children, ending a chapter. How to make a decision when your head and your gut are saying different things, without waiting for certainty to arrive.

Underneath all three there is usually the same single pattern. That is why I do not work only on the area you arrived with, even when we started there.

How I work

Somatic and focused. We do not only talk about the pattern, we catch it live in the room: what happened in your breath when you said that sentence, where in the body it contracted, what your shoulders did. The body does not lie, and it arrives before the explanation. But it does not "store" the pattern the way it can look like it does, it responds to a forecast your system learned, and that changes how you work with it, as I wrote in The body does not store. The body responds.

And the sessions are active. I hold the process and move it forward rather than sitting in silence and waiting. We set a clear goal, and you leave each session with something concrete to practise that week. That is where change lives, not in the room.

I work in English and Hebrew, and all relationship structures and identities are welcome. You will not have to explain yourself first.

By the end

By the end of our work you will have: a precise name for the pattern that keeps returning, an early signal in the body that catches it before it rolls, and a different response you have practised often enough that it is actually available when it happens for real.

We do not choose our lives with our values. We choose them with our patterns.

How to start

With a 30 minute intro call, free and with no commitment. We look at what you want to be different, whether I am the right person for it, and what a first session would be. If I am not the right fit, I say so and point you onward.

If you would rather begin without talking to anyone, there is an upcoming talk you can register for, and writing with concrete exercises you can do this week.

Questions people ask

How is this different from therapy?

Therapy goes into the past and what was built there, and takes the time it needs. Coaching starts in the present and aims at a defined change: what you want to be different, what is in the way, and what you practise this week. It is not psychotherapy and not a substitute for it. If what surfaces calls for therapy, I say so.

How many sessions does it take?

Most people feel movement within three or four sessions, and a full arc is usually eight to twelve. We define it together in the first conversation and check in halfway, so that it does not drift.

I am not sure what I want to work on. Is that alright?

Yes, and it is a very common starting point. The intro call exists for exactly this. Often the thing that was hard to articulate turns out to be one sentence, inside twenty minutes.

Where do we meet?

On Zoom from anywhere in the world, in person around Lisbon and Sintra, or walking side by side. Some conversations need a body in motion and open sky. I travel upon request.
